Golem
One of the most mysterious stories in Prague’s history comes alive on stage just a few dozen meters from the very places where it was said to have taken place. Or perhaps where it is still unfolding? Join us as we follow the trail of the legend of the Golem, which has fascinated Praguers, writers, scientists, rulers, as well as theatre and film makers for centuries. Alongside them are adventurers who have tried, and continue to try, in vain to find the Golem. But why? What makes this mythical protector of the Jewish Quarter so compelling even today? What exactly is it? And how does its story tie in with the legend of Doctor Faust? Let’s rediscover lost places, half-forgotten tales, and the vanished fates of those who longed to reach for immortality. Whatever immortality may even mean.
